He attended Eastern Oregon State College in La Grande, Oregon, where he was a bull rider on the school’s intercollegiate rodeo team (briefly), the associate editor of the college newspaper, and a two-term president of the Eastern Oregon Literary Society. Jason worked his way through college as laborer, equipment operator and grade-checker on various road construction projects throughout Oregon and, after graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Jason continued working in construction until he attended Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California where he obtained his J.D. in 1998. During his senior year, Jason interned with the Construction Team of the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office.

In 2000, Jason and his wife, Jena, relocated in to Las Vegas in 2000. In that regard, Jason has successfully represented various clients in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, construction defect, product defect, breach of contract, professional negligence and insurance coverage. In 2014, Jason joined Hall, Jaffe & Clayton, LLP “of counsel” where he continues his complex civil litigation practice in state and federal court. He is licensed to practice in California and Nevada.
