Project Description

Kathy McCarthy grew up in New Hampshire. She attended Suffolk Law School in Boston, Massachusetts and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1999. She then began practicing as an in-house attorney with a technology company in Cambridge, Massachusetts, focusing primarily on software licensing and contract negotiation. In 2004, she relocated to Las Vegas and subsequently took and passed the Nevada bar. She is co-founder and current chairperson of the Animal Law Section of the Nevada bar. After several years of practicing primarily in the area of construction defect litigation, Kathy McCarthy joined Hall, Jaffe, & Clayton as an Associate Attorney practicing primarily in the area of insurance defense.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys hiking with her dogs, going to the gym, attending the different events and activities Las Vegas offers, and working on animal-related causes.
