Michael R. Hall was born in Syracuse, New York in 1965. He attended the American University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Michael then attended law school at the University of Iowa and graduated in 1990 with High Distinction.

After graduation, Mike joined the firm of Streich Lang (now Quarles & Brady) in Phoenix, Arizona. Mike practiced with that firm in Phoenix, and moved to the Las Vegas office in 1996. He co-authored the following article for the Arizona Law Review: Responding To A Government Environmental Investigation: Shaping The Defense, 34 Ariz. L. Rev. 510 (1992). Mike later founded the Hall Jaffe & Clayton firm with Steve Jaffe and Riley Clayton in 2003. Mike is licensed to practice in Nevada and Arizona.

Mike practices in the areas of commercial and tort litigation. He has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict. These have included cases involving commercial disputes, catastrophic injuries, products liability, and employment matters. Mike has argued cases before the Nevada Supreme Court, the Arizona Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The following cases produced published opinions: May v. Anderson, 121 Nev. 668, 1190 P.3d 1254 (2005); Nevada Contract Services v. Squirrel Companies, 119 Nev. 157, 68 P.3d 896 (2003); Hanson v. Eighth Judicial Dist. Ct., 116 Nev. 650, 6 P.3d 982 (2000);State v. Chan, 188 Ariz. 272, 935 P.2d 850 (Ariz. App. 1996).

Mike is married to Veronica Arechederra Hall, and they have two sons: Jackson and Drake. Mike spends his summer weekends in San Diego, and continues to believe that the Padres will win a World Title.
